The days dwindled down on the final month of summer. The weather had been rather unbearably hot for the past few days, and the lake was getting even more temping as the minutes ticked on. Too bad swimming in it was forbidden. It seemed the only possible savior from the heat was the rare, moderately cool breeze that danced along the lawns. Those who were smart stayed indoors and settled with the simplicity of a day wasted away on the couch watching TV.
